Before any coating
Flake, epoxy, metallic, stain or seal, the prep is the same. It is the part that decides if the floor lasts.
The grinder opens the top of the concrete and strips old paint, glue or sealer. Thousands of tiny grooves give the coating its grip.
Cracks, pits and low spots get filled before anything goes over them. Nothing gets coated over and hidden.
Basements can push water vapor up through the slab. We test for it and use a moisture tolerant primer when the floor needs one.
Only then does the coating go down, in the order its system needs. Each finish page shows its own stack.
